Plume CEO: The RWA market is expected to grow 3-5 times by 2026
ChainCatcher news, according to a report by Cointelegraph, Chris Yin, CEO of the Layer 2 blockchain Plume focused on RWA, stated that the RWA market size is expected to grow 3-5 times by 2026.
Currently, on-chain RWA assets exceed $35 billion, with more than 539,000 holders. Yin noted that the tokenized RWA market currently serves only crypto-native users, but it is expected that the market will see exponential growth in total value, user numbers, asset categories, and utility.
In addition, Plume announced on Wednesday that Securitize, a tokenization platform backed by BlackRock and Morgan Stanley, plans to deploy institutional-grade assets on Plume's Nest staking protocol.
