The US prediction market platform Kalshi will launch cryptocurrency price betting services
According to a report by The Block, the US prediction market platform Kalshi will launch five new event contracts for customers on Monday local time, supporting users to bet on various market price trends of Bitcoin and Ethereum with US dollars.
The five new products on Kalshi include market event contracts predicting the future value of Bitcoin. Users can bet on five target prices for this year - $75,000, $80,000, $90,000, $100,000 and $150,000 or above. The price of Ether is estimated every day at 4 pm.
Although bets are based on cryptocurrency prices, users can place bets in US dollars instead of cryptocurrencies.
