The U.S. government seized 3940 BTC from drug trafficker Banmeet Singh
Golden Finance reports that blockchain data tracking company Arkham has stated that the U.S. government has seized $250 million worth of BTC, which is currently stored in Arkham. The U.S. government obtained 3940 BTC from drug dealer Banmeet Singh and confiscated it during a trial in January 2024. According to court documents, from 2012 to 2017, Singh was responsible for selling controlled substances on the dark web market and distributing these substances throughout the United States. The statements from the Department of Justice (DOJ) and court documents match with the chain fund flow added to our U.S. government entities.
