According to official news, the UK's Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) has released a proposal seeking public feedback on the proposed regulations for stablecoins and cryptocurrency custody. The regulatory proposal is described as the "latest milestone on the path to cryptocurrency regulation." This draft is based on previous roundtable discussions and industry feedback. The FCA's proposed rules aim to ensure that regulated stablecoins maintain their value. The FCA also noted that it will work with the Bank of England to regulate stablecoins. The deadline for feedback is July 31, 2025.
