Jensen Huang: China is one of the world's largest AI markets and a springboard for global success
According to a report by Jinse Finance, NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang stated in a conference call with analysts that the $50 billion AI market in China is effectively closed to American industries. He said, "China is one of the largest AI markets in the world and a stepping stone to global success. Half of the world's AI researchers are in China, and winning China's platform will lead globally." The current U.S. policy is based on the assumption that China cannot manufacture its own AI chips, which Huang pointed out has always been problematic, but is now clearly incorrect. "The issue is not whether China will have AI, the issue is whether one of the largest AI markets in the world will operate on American platforms."
