On May 29 local time, the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia, located in the capital Washington, issued a preliminary injunction against the tariff measures imposed by the Trump administration on multiple countries under the International Emergency Economic Powers Act. This ruling pertains to a lawsuit initiated by two small American businesses against the federal government on April 22.
