Jack Dorsey launches decentralized chat app bitchat
According to Jinse Finance, Twitter co-founder Jack Dorsey has launched a decentralized peer-to-peer chat application called bitchat. This app operates on a Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) mesh network, supports ephemeral encrypted message transmission, enables fully offline chatting, and is designed to resist censorship and function in network outage scenarios. Messages can be relayed through nodes, with a maximum transmission distance of over 300 meters.
