Data: A whale lost over $1.2 million by shorting BTC and XRP
ChainCatcher news, according to monitoring by Lookonchain, whale @qwatio created a new wallet (0x9018) and deposited 4.22 million USDC into Hyperliquid.
This gambler shorted 1,366.67 BTC (worth 150 million USD) with 40x leverage, and shorted 2.78 million XRP (worth 7.7 million USD) with 20x leverage, resulting in a loss of over 1.2 million USD. BTC liquidation price: 110,280 USD; XRP liquidation price: 3.0665 USD.
