U.S. stocks closed higher, Dow Jones hit a new record, AMD rose 9%
ChainCatcher news, according to Golden Ten Data, U.S. stocks closed higher on Wednesday, with the Dow Jones Industrial Average preliminarily up 0.68%, once again hitting a new intraday high. The S&P 500 index edged up slightly, while the Nasdaq fell 0.26%. Airline stocks generally rose, with United Airlines up 5%. AMD rose 9%, while Oracle fell nearly 4%. The Nasdaq Golden Dragon China Index closed down 1.46%, with Tencent Music down 8% and Alibaba down nearly 2%.
