Time to fully pivot away from airdrops. → ZoraChain — $13 → Assisterr — $3 → LayerEdge — $4 → CESS Network — $16 → Humanity — $25 → Star Tower — $0 🚫 scam → Lightchain — $0 🚫 scam → Naoris — $0 → XRPL $XRP — $0 → Taker — $6 → Camp Network — $0 → Somnia $SOMI — $500 → Monad $MON — $0 from whole ecosystem → OpenLedger — $20 → Gaib — $759 → 0G Labs — $0 And these are just the projects I can remember there were more I’m roughly estimating and didn’t document everything Only two projects actually paid off plus a few NFTs All that effort for roughly ~$1,346 net Total earned this year ~$1,500 Total spent this year ~$10,000 WTF Airdrop culture is getting embarrassing Web3 people should have some self-respect it’s starting to feel like begging not building And CT just lies for engagement Everyone posts fake success stories Life was honestly better when I was trading and didn’t even know CT existed And yeah before anyone judges here’s my reality In 2024 I made more money trading than doing this Then my wallet got hacked My sister was diagnosed with arthritis I graduated from university Pressure piled up from every side I saved again borrowed money tried to recover Lost it during the memecoin Trump era stupidity That’s how I ended up doing airdrops just to stay afloat And X has been terrible for me I’ve been shadowbanned for over 2 months Now I’m burnt out confused and honestly don’t know the next move This probably won’t even hit 100 impressions Just getting it off my chest

What Happened Between Eden (Monadians Co-founder) and Monad A while back, Monadians was one of the most hyped NFT projects inside the $MON ecosystem founded by Eden and Barry. They built strong momentum, attracted wide attention, and became the first Monad-native NFT brand to break into the broader Web3 conversation. Then Monad’s repeated mainnet delays began to affect everything. At peak momentum, Monadians planned to launch first on Ethereum, then migrate back to Monad once mainnet went live a practical move to keep the project alive. That’s when things took a turn. Monad’s CMO reportedly reached out telling them launching on ETH was a “bad idea,” warning they wouldn’t be considered a Monad project if they did. In exchange for delaying, the team was promised endorsement, ecosystem support, NFT airdrops, and visibility with the claim that mainnet would arrive in Q4 2024. Eden and Barry agreed to wait. The mint was delayed. Momentum slowed. After that, communication from Monad reportedly vanished. Repeated follow-ups went unanswered, and the promised support never came. At one point, Eden received a message suggesting to read an article on “how to manage NFTs properly” a moment that revealed how disconnected the leadership was from the builders driving real energy in the ecosystem. The delay cost Monadians their community traction and growth. Other founders inside Monad faced similar experiences repeated delays, vague promises, no real partnership. Eden later decided to move on and start building again independently. The experience became a lesson for the wider Web3 community: Ecosystems can’t thrive if they suppress builders in favor of control. Momentum and trust are everything once lost, they rarely return. Monadians became the turning point. Eden’s focus now is on building projects with transparency self sufficiency, and zero dependence on broken promises.
