What is Flamingo (FLM)?
Flamingo is a decentralized finance (DeFi) platform built on the Neo N3 blockchain. It was introduced in 2022 with a range of asset actions and innovative features. Through PolyNetwork, the Flamingo protocol is connected with various other blockchains, including Ethereum and Ontology, allowing users to leverage its interoperability to gain access to more assets within the broader blockchain ecosystem. Flamingo aims to deliver unprecedented capital efficiency and liquidity compared to isolated DeFi protocols.
How Flamingo (FLM) Works
Flamingo offers a suite of DeFi solutions as follows;
- SmartStake feature allows users to wrap assets, add liquidity to a trading pair liquidity pool, and stake their LP tokens all in a single click. The Flamingo token (FLM) functions as the rewards token users can earn by adding liquidity to liquidity pools and staking their LP tokens.
- Convert is an Automatic Market Maker (AMM) that employs the Constant Product Market Maker (CPMM) model to establish the price based on liquidity.
- Wrap and Unwrap is the tool that can wrap any digital assets and bring it to the Neo blockchain.
- Add and Remove Liquidity allows users to provide liquidity and earn passive income via trading fees.
- Stake and Unstake enables users to stake their LP tokens to earn rewards in FLM tokens.
- Earn feature is a one-stop asset manager that integrates asset staking and collateralized stable coin issuance. Users can track their rewards in real-time and claim their rewards in FLM after staking LP tokens.
- Single Stake Fund (FLUND) is a DEX-Traded Fund (DTF) that investors can invest FLM into to earn more FLM.
As can be seen above, FLM token plays a very active role in the Flamingo ecosystem. Its main utility is to encourage and incentivise participants within the ecosystem.
How Many Flamingo (FLM) Tokens Are in Circulation?
The total supply of FLM token, the native token of the Flamingo, is 1,000,000,000, and 453,222,554 of them are in circulation.

Saint Martin island, an island located in the northeast of the Caribbean sea, is owned by two countries, France claiming the northern half and Netherlands the southern half. The French call their share of the island Saint-Martin while the Dutch call theirs Sint Maarten. The French territory has 53 km2 in total area and is less populated than the Dutch territory, despite the latter being only 34km2. French is the official language for the northern part, while the southern part accepts both Dutch and English as the official languages. Currency wise, Saint Martin uses Euro while Sint Maarten uses the Netherlands Antillean guilder.
The island has no river but the scenery is abundant with white sand beaches, hills, and mountain peaks. Maho Beach, Divi Little Bay Beach Resort, Fort St. Louis, and Simpson Bay are some of the most beautiful spots in Saint Martin.
