What is Gala (GALA)?
Gala Games is a gaming ecosystem on the Ethereum blockchain. Besides hosting a wide range of games in various genres, the ecosystem combines Play-to-Earn, NFT, and DeFi to enable user-players to actually own their in-game items and have a comprehensive blockchain gaming experience.
Gala Games was founded in 2019 by Eric Schiermeyer and Michael McCarthy, two former Zynga leaders. They brought decades of experience in the traditional gaming industry into Gala Games and recruited many people who have been highly involved in the gaming industry to the team.
How Gala (GALA) Works
In the Gala Games ecosystem, one can earn by playing games and/or running Gala Node.
Regarding playing games, there are currently 14 well-designed games in the ecosystem, which span across a variety of genres including Simulation, MMORPG, Card, Third-Person Shooter, Turn-based RPG, Battle Royale, etc.
Regarding Gala Node, one can buy a license to run Gala Node, and receive GALA tokens, NFTs, or other exclusive rewards in return.
