Median Ether Gas jumped to around 87 gwei this week, hitting a new high since May of last year

According to The Block, the median Ether network Gas has risen this week to its highest level since May 2022, jumping to around 87 gwei on May 2. Dragonfly anonymous data researcher Hildobby said the increase was mainly due to Meme coin transactions.

BNB Chain,
Polygon and Avalanche saw a record high of 6.77 million new unique addresses per day last week, thanks to the rise in Ether's Gas, which last peaked at 6.74 million two years ago.
