South Korean Exchanges Second Only to Bitcoin in XRP Trading Volume This Year
According to Blockworks, Kaiko data shows that the 20 most traded cryptocurrencies listed on South Korean cryptocurrency exchanges Upbit, Bithumb, Coinone and Korbit, in addition to bitcoin and ethereum, had a total trading volume of $201.8 billion from the beginning of the year through May 30.
Of these, XRP traded at $24.5 billion, second only to Bitcoin at $36.7 billion and nearly three times the volume of Ether. The top 4 to 10 cryptocurrencies in terms of trading volume are DOGE, SXP, ETC, SAND, T, ARB, and AXS.
