The Worldcoin protocol is now live on the OP mainnet!
The Worldcoin protocol has been officially launched after being migrated to the OP (formerly Optimism) mainnet. According to optimistic.etherscan, WLD-Optimism currently has a maximum total supply of 175,500,064 WLDs and 94,214 holding addresses. The WLD-Optimism contracted addresses are: 0xdc6ff44d5d932cbd77b52e5612ba0529dc6226f1.
On July 20, key parts of World ID and TFH's World App technology stack have been migrated to the OP mainnet, and user migration has begun.
For World ID and World App users, the completion of the migration means that the Worldcoin protocol has been migrated to Ether in support of World ID and bridges have been built for Optimism and Polygon PoS; the majority of Safe wallets have been deployed to the OP mainnet, with the remainder to be deployed on user-initiated migrations; and the World App Uniswap is now supported on the OP mainnet; World App has been updated to prompt users to begin the migration process, which takes an average of 90 seconds.
