The SEC held its third meeting with BlackRock to discuss the Bitcoin ETF in spot market, focusing on whether to allow physical creation patterns
On December 13, Bloomberg analyst Eric Balchunas cited regulatory memorandum documents stating that BlackRock met with the SEC for the third time on local time December 11 to discuss the details of its spot Bitcoin ETF. The participants in the third meeting included Rachel Aquirre, director of BlackRock's U.S. iShares products, and most of the others were lawyers. It is said that the focus of this meeting was "to persuade the U.S. SEC to allow physical creation mode in the first round of approval."
