Metaverse game company Barnyard Games completes US$3.4 million in financing, led by Menlo Ventures
Barnyard Games, a game development company based on the metaverse platform Fortnite, has announced the completion of a new round of financing worth $3.4 million. The round was led by Menlo Ventures, with participation from BetaWorks, Alumni Ventures, Charge VC, as well as major strategic angel investors Eden Chen and Nate Mitchell. Barnyard Games is built on the virtual game engine Fortnite (UEFN) platform and has currently released five games. It is reported that this financing transaction is the first investment deal since Amy Wu, former game partner of Lightspeed Venture Partners and former director of FTX games, joined Menlo Ventures.
