Insider: The likelihood of the SEC approving a spot Bitcoin ETF earlier this week is not high
According to Fox Business reporters Eleanor Terrett and Charles Gasparino, despite the unpredictability of SEC actions, it is unlikely that approval will be granted early this week as the SEC still needs to review and comment on the S-1 forms submitted last Thursday and Friday. Terrett noted that based on her communication with issuers, the SEC may notify them of a final date for submitting their S-1 forms after this round of reviews, making it effective within 24-48 hours afterwards, similar to the timeline for Ethereum futures approval in October last year. Meanwhile, Charles Gasparino learned from BlackRock that they have not yet received any news from the SEC.
