Co-founder Jay of Sei Labs: V2 function code has been completed and is currently undergoing auditing
Co-founder Jay of Sei Labs posted on the X platform that the functional code of Sei V2 has been completed, and OtterSec and Zellic have started auditing it.
According to previous reports by Foresight News, after the upgrade, Sei V2 will become a parallelized EVM blockchain. The new features include backward compatibility of EVM smart contracts, reusability of widely used applications and tools (such as MetaMask), Optimistic parallelization, improvements to SeiDB (storage layer), interoperability with existing chains (allowing seamless integration between EVM and any other execution environment supported by Sei).
