UBS: The fundamentals of Bitcoin remain weak.
UBS analysts stated when analyzing the prospects of cryptocurrency that the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission approved the first batch of direct investment in Bitcoin ETFs last week, expanding channels for investors to invest in Bitcoin. However, despite approval raising the entry threshold for Bitcoin and making digital asset storage easier, Bitcoin's fundamentals remain weak. Currently, cryptocurrency applications are still limited in the real world. Cryptocurrency can significantly increase portfolio volatility. For example, even with only 10% allocation to bitcoin in a balanced portfolio, it could cause about 50% fluctuation in this wealth strategy. Considering Bitcoin's high energy consumption, concerns about sustainability persist.
