Lawmakers offer to help Trump fight central bank digital currencies
Congressman Tom Emmer has proposed to help former US President Donald Trump oppose the creation of a central bank digital currency (CBDC) in the United States.He stated: "I agree with President Trump's view; CBDC poses a serious threat to Americans' financial privacy. I look forward to working with him to continue to fight against the expanding government surveillance of our country."
