Crypto Industry Raises About $680 Million in January, Down 27% From Last January
The total amount of cryptocurrency funds raised in January 2024 was $676.61 million, down 27.4 per cent from January 2023's $932.4 million. Of these, 131 companies completed 132 deals with a median deal size of $3 million and a median post-funding valuation of $64.85 million. The five largest digital asset funding rounds in January 2024 were: 1. HashKe Group $100 million funding round valued at approximately $1.2 billion; 2. Freechat $80 million funding round valued at $800 million; 3. flowdesk $50 million funding round valued at an undisclosed amount; 4. Sygnum Bank $40 million funding round valued at $900 billion; 5. WaveBL $37 million funding at a valuation of $70 million.
