Indosuez Wealth Management: Short-term bullish on the US dollar, slightly negative in the long term
Indosuez Wealth Management investment strategist Maxime Garcia stated in the report that the institution has a positive short-term tactical view on the US dollar, but is slightly negative in the long term. He believes that if a soft landing in 2024 becomes a reality and major central banks start cutting interest rates in the second quarter, pro-cyclical currencies will benefit from the US dollar. At the same time, the US dollar is also structurally affected by de-dollarization.
