According to Fortune magazine, the American product fundraising platform Kickstarter completed US$100 million in financing, with a16z crypto leading the investment and Yes VC and others participating. In return for a16z, Kickstarter will transform into a Web 3 company and transfer its entire platform to the Celo blockchain. Users will be able to create their own mini-platforms around niche interests such as animation, attract more people, and Share profits with Kickstarter.
