Russia plans to expand money laundering controls to digital ruble transactions
According to Odaily Star Daily, Russian legislators have proposed a bill to expand anti-money laundering controls to digital ruble transactions. The proposal is led by Anatoly Aksakov, Chairman of the State Duma Financial markets Committee, establishing different responsibilities for platform participants and the Central Bank of Russia, which has been appointed as the main anti-money laundering entity in the system.
