Oscar Munoz, chief U.S. macro strategist at TD Securities, said that given that the U.S. CPI/PPI data still grew strongly in February, the core PCE monthly rate is expected to grow strongly again, although it is significantly lower than the 0.42% in January and the 0.36% core CPI in February.
