About $250 million lost in Q1 due to private key compromise
In a recent report, blockchain security firm CertiK disclosed that nearly half of the $503 million lost due to crypto security breaches in the last quarter involved private key compromises. The most notable case was the theft of Ripple co-founder and executive chairman Chris Larsen's personal XRP wallet, valued at $112.5 million.
