ECB Governing Council member Nagel: Interest rate cuts are more likely
According to the Golden Ten report, European Central Bank Governing Council member Nagel said that the possibility of the European Central Bank cutting interest rates at the next meeting is now greater. He stressed that while inflation is currently falling, there are risks, including the recent rise in oil prices and the possibility that wages may rise faster than expected. "So it's not entirely clear whether inflation will return to the 2% target next year and then stay there," he said.
