President of Southern East Asset Management: We are actively working with partners to promote the listing of virtual asset spot ETF products
According to ChainCatcher, Ding Chen, president of Southern East Asset Management Co., Ltd., said in an interview with Bloomberg: "It is a pity that we did not become the first entity to launch virtual asset ETFs in Hong Kong, but I am very happy to see the other three peers launch related products. We are still working hard to work closely with institutions and partners to successfully launch virtual asset spot ETFs. After all, this depends not only on asset management companies, but also on custodians, market makers, PDs, etc. At present, we still have some counterparties that are not fully prepared. But once we are ready, we will launch related products."
It is reported that Southern East Asset Management listed the first batch of cryptocurrency ETFs in Asia on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange as early as December 2022, including Southern East Asset Management Bitcoin Futures ETF and Southern East Asset Management Ethereum Futures ETF.
