U.S. stocks opened, with the Dow Jones Industrial Average down 30 points, the S&P 500 Index up 0.01%, and the Nasdaq Composite Index up 0.08%. Faraday Future (FFIE.O) soared 83%, and last week it rose more than 2,100%. Gold stocks generally rose, with Harmony Gold (HMY.N) and Goldfields (GFI.N) rising about 2.5%.
