Over $50 million worth of ETH has been sent to a burn address
According to data shows that as of the time of writing, over 13,300 ETH has been sent to the Ethereum burn address, with a current value of over $50 million. In addition, according to Ultrasound Money, the current burn rate is far behind the issuance rate, with an average of 303,000 ETH burned per year and 918,000 ETH issued per year.
