Apple is reportedly in agreement with OpenAI to introduce ChatGPT into iOS 18
Media reports, Bloomberg technology reporter Mark Gurman stated in the latest newsletter that Apple (AAPL.O) has reached an agreement with OpenAI to integrate the latter's chatbot ChatGPT into iOS 18. The partnership is expected to be officially announced at WWDC 2024. As Apple does not trust OpenAI to be the sole supplier of a major new feature for iOS, it is still striving to reach an agreement with Google to provide Gemini as an option. It was reported earlier today that Apple plans to integrate AI tools into core applications such as Safari, Photos and Notes.
