Taiko launches mainnet, tokens expected to be launched in a few weeks

Ethereum Layer2 Taiko has been under development since 2022 and has gone through seven testnets, and is now launched on the mainnet. Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin proposed to establish the first block on the Taiko mainnet, with metadata containing the names of each Taiko core contributor. The Taiko token is expected to be launched on the mainnet a few weeks later. In addition, Taiko plans to launch a points-based incentive program called Trailblazers to attract the community by rewarding those who complete tasks and interact with the network.
