McKinsey: The tokenized financial asset market is expected to reach two trillion dollars by 2030
ChainCatcher News, according to Cointelegraph, analysts from consulting firm McKinsey stated that although tokenized financial assets have experienced a "cold start", it is expected that their market size will reach about 20 trillion US dollars by 2030.
In an optimistic scenario, this value could double to around 40 trillion US dollars. Tokenization has shown "obvious momentum", but widespread adoption is still far away because modernizing existing financial infrastructure is "challenging, especially in heavily regulated industries such as financial services".
