Matrixport: Currently, the actual volatility of BTC and ETH is on par, but the volatility of ETH is usually 50% higher than that of BTC
Matrixport released a chart today stating that typically, there is a lot of speculative activity in the market before the launch of important financial products. Surprisingly, the actual volatility difference between Ethereum and Bitcoin is currently close to a lower level. Historically, because Ethereum is considered to have greater upside potential, it tends to exhibit higher beta values relative to Bitcoin. Currently, the actual volatility of Bitcoin and Ethereum are on par with each other at a ratio of 1.0. This point is noteworthy as Ethereum's volatility usually exceeds Bitcoin's by 50%.
