Insider: Trump has discussed cryptocurrency policy with Musk
Insiders revealed that Trump has discussed cryptocurrency policy with Tesla CEO Elon Musk. He also hosted executives from a cryptocurrency mining company at his Mar-a-Lago estate and vowed to reduce Ross Ulbricht's sentence. Ross Ulbricht was sentenced to life imprisonment for operating the dark web market Silk Road, which only allows access through Tor and uses Bitcoin as the sole transaction medium in order to ensure anonymity. Most importantly, Trump's campaign team announced in May that they would start accepting donations in digital assets. According to an anonymous campaign aide, since then, they have raised $4 million from various digital tokens.
