Philippine stock index rises over 1% as analysts expect central bank to cut rates by 25 bps
The Philippine stock index rose more than 1 per cent on Friday. Next week the Philippine central bank will announce its interest rate resolution, and despite the country's strong inflation, analysts expect the central bank to cut rates.
