Ripple plans to launch a new token standard MPT on the XRP Ledger this month
Ripple will launch a new token standard "MPT" on the XRP Ledger this month, aiming to enhance its support for real-world assets (RWA). Jasmine Cooper, Ripple's DeFi product manager, explained that MPT is specifically designed for RWA and can store metadata directly with the asset.
