Fiber Network Public Lightning Network Underlying Protocol in Full Beta, Main Network Scheduled to Go Live in November
The underlying protocol of Fiber Network, a public lightning network released by CKB, a native solution of the BTC ecosystem, is now in full beta. This version implements multi-hop routing and monitoring services for developers to test themselves.
Fiber Network is a next-generation public lightning network based on CKB and off-chain channels, providing fast, low-cost, decentralized multi-currency payments and P2P transactions. Fiber Network's official website is now live.
Previously, Fiber Network was launched in early September with a basic version that supports creating, updating, and closing channels between two nodes, creating any RGB++ Coin channel, and interoperating with the Bitcoin Lightning Network across chains.
