Litecoin Circulating Supply Surpasses 75 Million, Only 9 Million Left From Maximum Supply
The coin's circulating supply has surpassed 75 million coins, leaving just 9 million coins remaining from the maximum total supply of 84 million coins.
The number of new coins generated per block on the Litecoin network is halved approximately every four years, with the last litoshi (the smallest unit of Litecoin) expected to be produced around 2142, with the next halving event expected to occur at the end of July 2027.
