Telegram founder Pavel Durov's significant other miscarried due to stress

On October 7th, Telegram founder Pavel Durov and significant other Julia Vavilova revealed that Vavilova became pregnant during Durov's brief detention by French authorities, but miscarried on October 4th, 2024 due to investigation pressure.
Vavilova stated on Telegram that she learned of her pregnancy on August 25th, but did not immediately respond to law enforcement inquiries due to medical advice. A few weeks later, she was questioned.
Durov recalled the painful experience of miscarriage. Vavilova said that when she learned on October 4th that the fetal heartbeat had stopped, she was already ten weeks pregnant.
Durov was arrested in France on August 24, 2024, charged and released four days later on charges including conspiracy to distribute child pornography. French President Emmanuel Macron denied the arrest was a political act.
