Reporter Eleanor Terrett shared the development, noting that Deaton's application was officially added to the Second Circuit's docket on October 23rd. Although Deaton is running for the U.S. Senate, Deaton plans to continue to represent the XRP community by arguing that XRP trading remains legal, as previously ruled by Judge Analisa Torres.Deaton has criticized the SEC's inconsistent stance, highlighting its reversal on the Coinbase exchange, which he argues reflects a flawed regulatory approach.
