Harris, Trump discussed Israeli airstrikes on Iran during the campaign
During this weekend's campaign event, U.S. Vice President Harris and former President Trump briefly discussed Israel's airstrike on Iranian military bases. At a rally in Michigan, Trump said, "Israel is launching an attack—we are at war, and she (Harris) is out partying." At the time, Harris was holding a campaign event with Beyoncé in Texas.
Meanwhile, Harris called for "de-escalation rather than escalation of the situation in the region" on Saturday. She told reporters: "I feel very strongly along with all of America that Iran must stop its threats to the region; we will always protect Israel from any attacks launched by Iran in this manner."
