U.S. October services PMI higher than expected, the dollar index DXY short-term higher more than ten points at 103.7
The US Dollar Index DXY is now trading more than ten points higher in the short term at 103.7 after the release of US economic data, with the Institute for Supply Management (ISM) stating that economic activity in the services sector expanded for the fourth consecutive month in October. The services PMI registered 56, higher than the expected 53.8, marking the 50th time in 53 months that the sector has expanded.
