Michigan's Election Day turnout has reached 45.8 per cent
Election Day in the US state of Michigan is going well, with no major voting problems or long queues and no impact from the weather. The Secretary of State's office says 8,000 absentee ballots have been recovered and more than 820 people have registered to vote through the same day. So far, more than 3.3 million people have voted statewide, with a 45.8 percent turnout of active registered voters.
