FTX sues Anthony Scaramucci and his hedge fund SkyBridge Capital
On November 10, FTX filed a lawsuit against Anthony Scaramucci and his hedge fund SkyBridge Capital, as part of a broader effort to recover funds for the creditors of bankrupt companies. The lawsuit against the former White House Communications Director is one of 23 lawsuits filed in Delaware bankruptcy court on Friday. Court documents show that plaintiffs also include digital asset exchange Crypto.com and political groups such as FWD.US founded by Mark Zuckerberg. FTXA alleges that due to Scaramucci's constant "seeking assistance", Bankman-Fried invested $67 million in various SkyBridge ventures in 2022. Documents show that assets managed by SkyBridge have fallen from a high of $9 billion in 2015 to $2.2 billion. Representatives for Scaramucci declined to comment.
