Tether Treasury minted 2 billion USDT on Ethereum at around 1:07 Beijing time
On November 12th, according to Whale Alert monitoring, Tether Treasury added 2 billion USDT to Ethereum at around 1:07 am Beijing time. Paolo Ardoino, CEO of Tether, commented that this was an authorized but unissued transaction, meaning it will be used as inventory for the next issuance request and on-chain exchanges.
