The three major U.S. stock indexes closed collectively lower, with the Dow down 0.86%, the S&P 500 down 0.29%, and the Nasdaq down 0.09%. Most of the large technology stocks rose, Nvidia rose more than 2%, Nifty, Microsoft, Amazon rose more than 1%, Google, Meta rose slightly; Apple closed flat, Tesla fell more than 6%, Intel fell more than 3%.
