a16z announces new progress in its zkVM Jolt: costs significantly reduced, expected to accelerate by 3 times
On November 13, a16z announced that it has made several improvements to the performance and usability of its zkVM Jolt. The cost of validators has significantly decreased, from a few MB proof size in April to about 200 KB, and can be further reduced to 25 KB; the prover is expected to speed up by three times; it also supports Rust standard library etc.
