Powell: The Federal Reserve has time to understand the impact of Trump's policies on the economy
Federal Reserve Chairman Powell stated that the Federal Reserve has time before it needs to adjust its policy-making approach due to Trump's return to the White House.
Powell said, "I think it's too early to draw conclusions now, we don't really know what kind of policies will be introduced. I believe that before we respond with policy, we have time to assess the net impact of policy changes on the economy. Federal Reserve officials just need more clarity on policies before they can start updating economic forecasts and policy expectations."
